Our 2014 EMR Rating .93
The Experience Modification Rate, or EMR, is a formula used by insurance companies. It reflects a company’s commitment to safety and health. It is calculated by comparing a company’s annual insurance claims against the premiums of their policy over a three year period. A numerical scale is used with 1.0 being the average for the industry.
Anything greater than 1.0 shows that a company may have incidents in the last 3 years and suggests a lower performance in safety. Staying below the industry average allows companies to save on costs related to insurance premiums.
Clear Creek Construction has strived to maintain an excellent safety culture and this can be seen in our consistently low EMR average. We have stayed well below the industry average since opening our doors in 2006. By being committed to safety we not only ensure that our employees go home to their families safely, but we are also able to provide a lower cost and more savings to our customers.
